So I've missed yet another blog, sue me. One can blame my week of overnights, which is finally, thankfully, at a close so that I can put myself on a more regular schedule. It's sort of been a hard transition, and the work itself wasn't too bad, aside from the occasional annoyance that just comes with the job, but I don't even want to give it any airtime.

I guess currently, I'm sort of in a bummed mood. I know that this is partly because I'm putting all these pressures on myself, but I just can't help it. I want to get serious about saving money, about finding my own place, about trying to get my book out there more. I just don't necessarily know how to do it all. I've also got to buckle down on getting this book written, and I don't want to force it by any means, but it's just got to happen. The more I get done on Book Two, the better chances I have of getting my name out there, getting my book out there, just the better it gets in general. I need to be stricter with my finances, and I need to get to work creatively. I might buckle down and try and do a little writing after this blog, but who knows. I just really want to reach readers.

This blog probably won't be that long haha. Honestly, the highlight of my week hails from this weekend, where I got to get together with my boyfriend. Allen asked me about going on a double date with Amanda and CJ and of course I said yes. We all were planning on meeting at Kabuki, but then West joined, and Amanda and CJ couldn't get there in time for us to get a table, so it ended up just being me, Allen, and West. Which still faired for a great time haha. Then we went back to their place and hung out, Allen and I started watching La La Land, but both of us were tired. We retired to the bedroom and after a while, went to sleep. Got some lunch / breakfast this morning at Subway, and I headed home where I took not one but two naps. I've just sort of been in a weird mood. But the time for succumbing to that is over. I got to get this shit rocking.

Shout out to Miss Nothing by The Pretty Reckless for almost making NP. But alas, Trisha got me there and through the work week. Plus the Shane / Trisha switching lives videos didn't help with Freaky being featured haha. And that's about it. Told you this would be short. I just really wanna focus on getting back into the groove.
