Serendipitous!

Where do I even begin to explain all that's happened since my last blog? I truly don't even know what I should focus on first because it's been such a hurricane force driving the past few weeks along, a bitch has whiplash, Willow Smith is shook. Like holy shit, I'm looking back at my last blog and it's legit almost been an entire month. I apologize in advance because this is going to be a fucking mess.

So after some Fourth of July drama between friends and abandoning said friends outside of a bar, it was a mess. Things are patched up now between both parties, but it was a lot to take both outside of Tots, and over the entire Fourth thing we had planned, but it was lit anyway, saw Amanda and CJ, saw their new place, whatever, go us.

I spoke to work about the possibility of transferring right before I went on vacation at the end of the day July 6th, and that went better than expected. After that it was all a mirage of both preparing for tour and preparing to have my boyfriend move back home, taking him from thirty minutes up the road to three hours down the road. So a lot has been going on, as you can imagine. So I'm not even going to get into it, because I made a fifty minute video on it, but I fucking met Taylor Swift. TAYLOR. ALISON. SWIFT. I met my number one idol and I still haven't comprehended it? Everything entailing the trip to tour and meeting her and be seen in my video, which if Blogger isn't a Katy stan, I'll put right below.

I'm still not over it, never will be over it. I love Taylor so fucking much.

My boyfriend moving down hasn't been bad at all. I'll admit, I was nervous as hell for him to move so far away, but we're two incredible people willing to do everything for the other, so it's an amazing situation that I'll forever be thankful for. After coming back from tour, I went straight to his house after listening to some car personal property tax drama from my grandma, and I stayed up there to help him move. We filmed a video together while we were there, spending his last few nights in his apartment together haha, so I'll post that below as well.

We're so fucking cute haha. So then we drove down together, I was there until Tuesday, we had a lot of great times together, enjoyed a lot of firsts, swimming in their little pool, a lot of fun was had haha. Then I came back, work's been fucking insane, I've been working to push a transfer, have a store with a position I want, went back down to my boyfriend's after ten days, enjoyed seeing him again, did an interview at the store I'm trying to get to, was told to wait to Monday for a decision, no call came yesterday, called today and was told I'd hear from the store manager who I interviewed with, and still nothing, so I don't really know what's going on with that at this point. I'll call back tomorrow and see what's the sitch.

So yeah, a whirlwind. I keep saying I'm going get better at these blogs, but who knows? Maybe it'll just end up being an update hear and there, I'm a busy girl. I'm obsessed with a new game? Stared Valley, I love it so much.

Okay, before I even think about starting this blog off, I wish I could truly tell you how obsessed with the song in the NP I've been lately. Like it was loosely in my head while I was at Academy this past week and it's just been blaring in my head. It got to the point where I even reworked some of the lyrics to fit more of my perspective if that tells you anything (and you can peep them displayed in the NP haha). It's a fucking BOP.

So right after the last blog, it was the start of Academy classes over the next for days for me at another store, and I was over it. Not because I was getting area specific training for the job I've been doing for A YEAR ALREADY, but because it's just pointless. With the problems going on with accountability and motivation at my store, there's no point in my learning the process that I already know because all I do is freight day in and day out. Not to mention that I came back from Academy and worked at my store today and there was random trash and shit in my bins and I was PISSED. But honestly, I should just expect a shit show at this point, especially after I've been out of the store for a few days. I don't even want to get into the rest of Academy, but it was nothing new and it felt kind of pointless to even be there.

That Thursday I remember heading to my boyfriend's but I can't remember for what? I just remember being there haha. And then I worked Friday, but we got out super early at Academy because all we really had to do was the test. I'm just glad I passed because I was over it.com that the answers to the test were the damn fill in the blanks in the material that our teacher didn't bother telling us. But enough about Academy, I'm over it.

So right after finishing the test, I went back to my store and clocked out and, because of the overtime I had acquired, I got to go home, so I was all for it to be quite Pocahonest. I went straight back up to my boyfriend's place and waited until he had to go to work. I caught up on the Reunion of Season 10 of Drag Race and it was sooooo goooood. RuPaul and Asia O'Hara were fighting and I was living. Anyway, then I finally got caught up on The 100 and biiiiiiiiitch. Holy shit. I can't believe The 100 is STILL upping it's game after four seasons, literally every season gets better and better and I don't feel that way about many shows, honestly, I can't think of any off the top of my head. Season 5 is literally what I needed for The 100 to be haha.

Soon enough, my boyfriend was off from work and we were getting ready for Lisette's birthday party! We checked into the hotel, pre-gamed a little bit, and then we headed to Abeulo's for some food, and then we Ubered to the Park, which was a disaster. Only because there was an event going on and it just wasn't good, I was over it to be Pocahonest. But then we went to Corned Beef, this drunk guy told me I looked like Blake Shelton (I'll take it) and then we took some Patron shots haha. And then the dancing truly began because Corned Beef was liiiiit haha. It's exactly what my boyfriend and I were hoping to give Lisette on her birthday so that was definitely worth the trials and tribulations. And even though my boyfriend and I kept playing the dads to Kelly haha, it was a great night. We got back to the hotel around 3:30 or so, so I'd say we all gave Lisette a great birthday. Plus it was nice to hang out with Eve and Karena, who I hadn't met before that night.

Saturday we went to IHOP, which honestly, aside from it being the GLAAD meeting rendezvous (To me and my boyfriend anyway) is always a mistake. Our service was the worst, and I'm not a person that critiques that every time, I work retail, I know what it's like to be at the hands of the public, so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but girl, no. It was bad. But then we headed back to his place after dropping everyone off, took an almost three hour nap together, and enjoyed the rest of the evening. I don't really recall Sunday, but I know I stayed the night and went to work in the morning from there haha. Mainly because as I'm writing this, it's the following Monday, and it was the only night I spent at home haha. The rest of last week I spent completely at my boyfriend's place.

Tuesday I got together with Benzo and had Mexican, but I had a big lunch with the Lunch Crew so I couldn't eat much and my stomach was bothering me. Then I went back up to my boyfriend's and we drank some wine and danced a little bit, then went to bed, super romantic, just lovely. Then Wednesday I went back up there because Lisette was having a little get together in her new place, so we went up there BUT before that, I sold my iPhone X, and my boyfriend and his roommate and I went to the Farmhouse for dinner haha. I was feeling supes bougie. But we just hung out at Lisette's, but we ended up leaving not too long after because his stomach was hurting, so we left. Then Thursday we were gonna get together with Amanda and CJ, but I ended up getting a little too tipsy, and we stayed in, watched the first episode of Big Brother 20 and just enjoyed the night. And then Friday, we met up withy Lisette, Cimberly, and Alli and drank some cute 90's inspired drinks at Hokie House, then went to Tots, which was a disaster because Lisette disappeared and didn't tell anyone where she was, and that was a lot.

Saturday was mine and my boyfriend's Date Day! It started a little late because we legit slept in until noon haha. But we made our like picnic food and then headed to our favorite winery, ate our lunch, drank some good wine, even downed a wine slushie because their my spirit drink these days, and then we headed to the Airbnb we booked the night before! It was both of our first time using Airbnb, and we found this big but a little creepy? Farmhouse close to the restaurant and we loved it, even if it was a little creepy. Carlos Brazilian was wonderful as usual, but our waitress was like low-key coming for us as we were ordering wine, but it's fine. I was a little bummed that I couldn't get the new york strip from last time even though they had it back on the menu, but were out of new york strip haha.

We headed back to the Airbnb, drank a lot of wine, watched some Golden Girls, sang some songs from Mamma Mia in the kitchen, danced around the kitchen together, just super romantic and wonderful. Then we headed upstairs, had a wonderful evening, just all in all a wonderful experience. Except for the fact that we worked our asses off to cool that house down because it was SO HOT when we first got there, and the lady's cat bit me for no reason after jumping in my lap, begging me to pet it so there's that. Date Day was amazing, and I couldn't ask for a better person to share these new experiences with. I just love him so damn much.

Sunday was our lazy day. We headed back to his place and lounged for the longest time. He introduced me to Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and I'm fucking hooked. Now that's two shows I need to get up off my ass and finish if you count Sense8 haha. But I love it. Then we watched Big Brother and went to bed.

Work is whatever again, but after this week, I start vacation and REP TOUR IS IN A WEEK I AM SHOOKETH FOREVER. Ugh, I just can't. I just got my shirt I'm going to wear during the concert. I'm so fucking ready. Here's some photos from the past few eventful outings haha.
